Well, finally after many months with my site offline, I made the new version. I tried two previous sketches and they didn't like me. In the last 10 days I started a new one and finished it.
There's improvements not visibles, like the external load of images (they're not into the swf), is animated and realised in a 95% with Actionscript and XML, which made it lighter, fastest and overall, easy to update (that's good for me). Enjoy it.

CINES ARGENTINOS

The site Cines Argentinos (Argentinian Cinemas), is online since 1999 and was always manteined by who has created it, Santiago Torr� Walsh. For the redesign, I had the challenge to give a structure for a considerable amount of information. The content was separated in two areas, one to group the three basics and more important functions of the site, which is give information about films on theaters now, the schedules for projection and the next releases, all in the top area. For the lateral submenu, I let the complementary information. Also, from now, is much more easy to access to the archive of projected movies since a drop-down menu.
The orange and blue colours, even with the strong visual impact, seems to me ideal for the site, which is clearly oriented to the commercial and popular circuit of movies.
The design was realised on May and adjusted along a couple of months. After the time that took the data entry process, the new version is now available.
The actual version has relevant changes that turned it into an abominable fill-every-available-hole-with-publicity thing. That's not the way it was conceived.
